Local

AARP Minnesota
Provides information on AARP’s position on public policies; how AARP’s legislative agenda is selected, what is on the current agenda and how to become involved and how stay informed on senior issues.

Minnesota State Legislature
Provides links the Senate and House of Representatives websites; provides information on bills, statutes and session laws and rules; Other Government at the bottom of the page links to Minnesota US Congressional delegation which links to individual website for the senators and representative. Links to local government sites are also found in this section.

Information, election calendar, election results and statistics, polling places.

Housing Minnesota
Take Action and Policy & Legislation sections provided useful information on legislative action around housing issues.

Minnesota Board on Aging

Office of the Clerk- US House of Representative
Provides information on members of the House of Representative, legislative activities, links to bill summary and status and votes.

US Senate
Provides information on members of the senate, legislative activities, links to bill summary and status and votes.

The US Senate Special Committee on Aging
The site provides information on the work of this committee as well as access to an up-to-date information on bills of particular interest to seniors.

National Association of Area Agencies on Aging
Action alerts, policy papers on issues facing seniors and their caregivers.

National Council on Aging
Advocacy section provides action alerts, information on current issues and NCOA public policy agenda.

American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (aahsa)
The Advocacy, Policy and Government section provides general advocacy tools as well as advocacy and policy information for specific service areas.

Family Caregiver Alliance
The Public Policy & Research section provides information on caregiver action alerts and state and national policy initiatives around caregiver issues.

National Older Women’s League
