Request for Proposals (RFPs)
MAAA has
been designated by the Minnesota Board on Aging to administer Older
Americans Act funds under an approved area plan for a coordinated and
comprehensive system of services for older people. MAAA awards funds
for the development of new services and/or the continuation or
expansion of existing services in accordance with this plan.
A competitive bid process is generally completed for each funding category based
on a three year cycle. During this process funding policies are
developed based on research and a community development
process. The adopted policies are reflected in the Request For Proposal.
